When ready to fly

Step 33:

A. Install propellers: Motor 1 and Motor 3 use counterclockwise propellers and Motors 2 and 4 use clockwise propellers.

B. Remove the nut and flange, put the propeller on so that the numbers are visible on the top of the propeller and then install flange and nut to secure the propellers.

C. Make sure that the nut is secured tightly, or you run the risk of the propellers flying off during flight. D. When ready to fly, put on propellers by first putting on spacer that matches shaft. Make sure that you can read the numbers on the top of the propellers. Install the washer and then the nut. Tighten with pliers. (Figures 32A-D)
