Motor Rotation

Now that LEDs are added, but BEFORE moving forward, you will want to check rotation of the motors. They should match the diagram shown below.

You will need the remote control and a charged battery. Power on the remote, plug in the battery, and arm the drone. The props MUST NOT BE ON to do this test.

Use your finger and touch the side of the motor as it spins to determine the direction of rotation. You can also use pieces of tape, taped to the motor shaft to see what direct the motors are turning.

Non-GPS version.

GPS Version:

If a motor does not spin the correct direction, all you have to do is swap two motor wires, and this will change the direction of rotation.

Disconnect the battery, power off the remote and go to the next step.
