Motor Construction

Note: Not all parts included with the motor will be used and you need the other small black plates from the previous step. The black X and some of the screws will not be used due to how the motor is connected to the plate.

Motor Mount Assembly

Make sure the motor wires are to the outboard side!

Do NOT over tighten this, you risk breaking the arm!!

Your finished Arm Assembly should look like this.

Use the same procedure for all 4 arms.

A. Take the washer and nut off the propeller screw. Take propeller screw and place on top of the motor (Fig. 6B). Line up the three holes and use a fine screw driver to screw in the three small screws. (Fig 5C-5E)

Use 8mm long hex screws to mount the motor to the upper mount
Place one of the "T bone" on top of the mount
Use 2 of the 35mm long screws and place the upper mount assembly on the arm.
Place another "T bone" on the underside making sure the screws come through.
Hand thread 5.5mm nuts on the screws
Use the hex driver and 5.5mm nut driver to secure the motor mount to the arm
