Mounting the Naza Flight Controller

With double sided foam pads mount the LED to the right or left rear arm so that if can be seen from the rear of the drone. Secure with larger zipties and thread thru the drone and feed it up through the top plate rear opening.

Place the center top plate in place and run the PMU wires up through the rear opening and the ESC signal wires through the front opening.

Place the center top plate in place and run the PMU and LED wires up through the rear opening and the ESC signal wires through the front opening.

​With double sided foam pads secure the flight controller to the top center plate. Note that the arrow on the top of the Naza MUST be pointed towards the front of the drone.

Plug in the signal wires in to the corresponding Motor channels (Motor /ESC 1 into channel M1) on the Naza so that the white wires are at the bottom.

Plug the multi-color wire from the PMU into the X3 slot on the back of the Naza.

Plug the EXP wire into the horizontal slot marked EXP

Plug the LED wire into the horizontal LED slot at the back of the Naza.

With M3 8mm screws mount the red 35mm standoff on the top side of the top plate.

Mount all 4 standoffs, the battery plate will mount to them.

Align the holes with the standoffs and secure with 8mm screws.

thread the battery strap through the slots.

Put a small amount of superglue on each end and slide the top and bottom of the mast pieces in place and allow to dry.

Secure the GPS Mast to the front with 8mm screws threaded into the front standoffs through the top front plate.

Use the double sided sticky pads included with the antenna and secure it to the top of the mast.

NOTE: The arrow on the GPS antenna MUST be pointed to the Front of the drone, in he direction of forward travel.

Secure the antenna wire to the mast with small zipties.

Mounting the Radio Receiver

Plug the other end of the receiver wire from X2 into your receiver.

Secure it with both double sided tape and zipties.

Ziptie the antenna wire down in different directions if possible. Longer antenna wires should be ziptied to the landing gear once it is installed to avoid damage from the propellers.

Ready to connect to your computer and configure.
